It's easy to part yourself for a suit. It is best not to try and do all the measurements yourself though as you will find it too difficult. Most of the measurements want you to be standing straight. Fiddling colse to with a tape part at the same time naturally won't work. Ask a friend to help you part yourself for a suit. It shouldn't take more than a few minutes.
You should use a fully flexible tape part made of plastic or cloth, and not the metal retractable type you may have in your toolbox. Never try to part yourself for a suit using a rigid one-foot plastic rule of the type children use at school. It won't work. This description tells you how to part yourself for a suit in five easy stages.
Kids In Bathing Suits
1. Start by measuring yourself from the top of your head to the soles of your feet. Don't wear shoes. Stand naturally, not tensed up or slouched either. You will need a friend to help with this measurement. It's probably best to description all the measurements in both inches and centimetres. Most tape measures are able to do this.
2. Working down from the top, part your chest next. This should be the widest determination just below the armpits. Don't have the tape part held too tight or too slack. Raise your arms to allow the person helping you to place the tape colse to your upper torso, then lower your arms again and stand naturally. When correctly tensioned, it should be potential to comfortably place two fingers in the middle of the tape and your body.
3. part your waist next. This should be the widest determination at the waist. Stand naturally and don't hold your stomach in. The tape should be held firmly, but not too tightly either. Again, it should be of course potential to place two fingers in the middle of the tape and your body.
4. part the seat or hips next. This should be over the widest part of the buttocks. The tape should be held colse to the body, tight adequate to part accurately, but not so tight that two fingers can't be comfortably placed in the middle of the tape and the body.
5. This is the determination that most men dread when handled by a stranger: the inside leg, or inseam, measurement. It needn't be a problem when done properly. You should wear a pair of good fitting trousers. Stand naturally with your legs slightly apart. Hold the end of the tape yourself into the crotch at the point where all the seams come together. Your friend should part to the lowest of the leg where the trouser leg should end.
These measurements are commonly all you will need. You can part yourself for a suit more completely if you wish and include determination of the front leg, back leg, jacket length, arm length, scye depth and arm scye, for example. However, the simplest way to part yourself for a suit is contained in the five easy steps above.
